Unintentional Landscape Art
We had the backyard rebuilt before the rains started. The workers saved the old bricks, cleaned them and laid them back down with new bricks. When the rains started, we found out that the old bricks had moss in their pores and within a day of the first good rain, the moss had sprouted up.
It's wonderful how the moss is only on certain bricks.

Ocean Beach 1/23/16
There was a stiff wind and white caps in the aftermath of some heavy rain.
The lone kitesurfer was having an amazing ride.
The silver light off the water.
This is a reminder that San Francisco is a very multiethnic city.

Cold War Relics

It turned out that Freud was wrong about a lot of things, but not everything. Let's admire a closer shot of the ICBM piercing the Soviet flag.
